Description

"Knom chmoo-ah Kampuchea!"
My name is Cambodia! (:

Analysis:

Umbrella: Used in Royal Ploughing Day, it symbolises Cambodia's festivals, and its agrarian nature.
Kouprey (buffalo): Cambodia's national animal which may represent Cambodia's tolerance and agrarian nature.
Crown and shoes: They can symbolise Cambodia's origins, from head to toe.
Rumdul (mitrella mesnyi): Cambodia's national flower. It has 3 petals, sweet smell, and many purposes.
Eye scar: Psychological scar from the Khmer Rouge, especially in adults.
Krama: Cambodian multi-purpose cloth that is used as a scarf, bandana, to carry chlidren, cover face, or decoration.
Shirt: Cambodia's acceptance of Western culture, especially farmers.
Angkor Wat Pendant: As pendant symbolises protection/vitality, it shows tourism as Cambodia's lifeline.
Golden belt: A belt worn with sampot.
Sampot: A half-skirt, half-pants, garment that brings comfort, and still occasionally used despite Westernisation.
Skull: It symbolise Khmer Rouge, killing fields, massacre and death.
Cambodian Flag: Blue represents royalty; red represents nation; white represents religion; temple represents structure of the universe.

P.S. I've been to Cambodia only once, so forgive me for any misinterpretation. Cambodia OC belongs to me :)
